Johnny Duke
Biography


Born in 1988 in Knoxville, Tennessee, Johnny picked up his first electric guitar at the age of 10 and fell in love with the Blues.  Since then, he has earned tremendous success as both a frontman for his blues group "Johnny Duke & the Aces," and as a sideman/session musician for many great artists who perform in a variety of different styles.  He has the ability to play guitar gracefully in Country, Pop, Blues, Folk, Rock, Jazz and Funk.  Johnny recently graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he earned his BA degree with a concentration in Professional Music.

Over the years, Johnny has shared the stage with the likes of B.B. King, Jimmy Buffett, Vince Gill, David Bromberg, Little Big Town, Sam Bush, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Jorma Kaukonen, Don Was, Laurie Lewis, Johnny Neel, Angel Band, Toni Lynn Washington, and many others.

Johnny currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where he is writing new music and looking to collaborate with a wide range of artists in a diversity of styles.
